What if we had a Democratic President - right now?

I was reading an article on Steven Spruell's media blog (at National Review). He was addressing press bias against Bush negatively driving perception of the economy and other issues.

Of course, as a reflexive, blinder wearing conservative (gotta maintain the stereotype), I accept this at face value (it's so obvious, can't you see...?). However, I started wondering, "what if the shoe were on the other foot and we had a Democratic President in office right now?"

Could I look at the same facts as I believe them to be right now, come to the same assessment as to their validity and make a rational decision to support the administration, or would I see an evil, partisan hand behind every decision, every agreement? I did during the Clinton administration, I admit it. In fact I sounded much like the Moonbats of the left do today, seeing an end to life as we know it in every decision of Bill and his puppet master, Hillary.

Quite frankly, I cannot visualize a democratic administration in which this would occur, the divide being what it is between left and right. Still, I wonder.

I pose the same question to you (non-existent liberal reader) . If the tables were turned, and all the facts were the same, would you be against or for the (Democratic) President right now? Would this "wrong" war suddenly become right if a President Hillary were to say our survival depended on it?
